Plans: Meet Up, enjoy breakfast* as part of the cruise, take in the track scene and action

Departure: 11am latest

Cruise 1 (day 1)

Depart Lime Rock: Approx. 11am (Route 1 Notes below)

Rally Point 1: Benington Welcome Center, approximately 12:45pm (Map)

Rally Point 2: Stratton Mountain VT, Sunbowl parking area, approx. 2pm (Map)

Day 1 afternoon and event events and suggested activities:

Stratton Mountain Harvest Fest, Saturday afternoon into early evening (Harvest Fest Link)

Evening gathering sponts: Green Door bar approx. 8pm (Map)

Cruise 2 (day 2)

Meet point: Strattong Mountain, Sunbowl lot, 10AM (be gassed up and ready to go!)

Rally Point 2: Lawson’s Finest Liquids, approx. 1pm (Map) (Route Notes 2 below)

Enjoy a refreshment and snack and ahve some fun!**

Day 2 afternoon and evening events and suggested activities:

Stop at Longtrail Brewery on the way back towards Strattong (Map)

Make a run up Mt. Equinox! It’s a toll road, and they host hill climb events (Map)

Sunday Evening (TBD): Evening gathering at the event organizer’s house, approx. 7 PM. We will email an address on Saturday evening if this is viable based on the driveway and other factors.  We appreciate your understanding.  If we don’t host, we’ll suggest a local bar where we can all gather.

*We will open a tab at the Lime Rock café at 9 AM. It will be closed out once our budget for that is reached. Get there early if you want to guarantee coffee and breakfast at the event.

Route Notes 1:  Lime Rock to Stratton

  • This is an open run, take whatever route you want.

  • Typical route used:  Link to google maps route here Notes:

    • Right out of Lime Rock, left on 112 (Lime Rock Road), right on to Salmon Kill Road (SLOW).

    • Right on route 44 in Salisbury, will be some traffic here. Left onto 41 North out of town.

    • 41 north heads up to South Egremont where you will take a left onto Creamery Road.  This turns into 71 north.

    • 71 turns into 22 North. Follow this north until it runs into Route 7 where you take a right and head towards Hoosick.  Bear left to get on 279, and this will take you to the Bennington Welcome Center here.

    • From there, it’s a straight shot up Route 7 to Stratton and the Sunbowl lot. 

Route Notes 2: Stratton to Lawson’s Liquids

  • This is also an open run, and if you want to just meet us at Lawson’s and make your way there on your own time and choose your own route, that is totally fine.

  • Typical route used: Link to Google Maps route here. Notes:

    • Right out of Stratton access road, left onto Route 100 North.

    • Stay on 100 up through Ludlow.  100 becomes Route 4 and then turns back into Route 100 by Killington. You take a right off Route 4 onto 1000 just after the Killington village area.

    • Continue north on 100 to Hancock, where you take a left onto Route 125. Take a right onto Route 116 north.  There is a gas station on the corner here.  Great place to fill up if you need to.

    • Follow 116 north to Route 17/West Street, then turn right.  This road turns back into 116 after the town, and you bear right to get on 17.  This is a fun drive, with overlooks to stop and take photos. You will pass Mad River Glen on your way back to Route 100.  Take a left onto Route 100, and Lawson's Finest is right up the road on the left.  We recommend parking in the lot here.
